Heroes! The Abyss has set its sights on you once more, waiting for you to venture into its Circles! Season 2 is about to begin, bringing new distortions and even greater dangers to overcome.

2 New Distortions

The Abyss seems more determined to keep you trapped in its depths. Here's what awaits you this season!

• Broken Shackles: Monsters gain several stacks of Broken Shackles. Each stack grants immunity to one control effect and makes the monster stronger. Applying a control effect consumes one stack.

  • Broken Shackles I: Monsters gain 2 stacks of Broken Shackles. Each stack grants immunity to one control effect and reduces damage taken by 25%.

  • Broken Shackles II: Monsters gain 3 stacks of Broken Shackles. Each stack grants immunity to one control effect, reduces damage taken by 25%, and increases damage dealt by 15%.

• Scorching Remains: When killed, monsters explode and apply Funeral Pyre to you and your party members, dealing magic damage every second. Applying additional stacks of Funeral Pyre refreshes its duration and increases its strength.
  
  
  

1 Reworked Distortion

• Shadowburst: Occasionally summons several spheres. If not destroyed, they explode, dealing massive damage to all targets caught in the blast and applying Shackles and Silence for 5 seconds.

  • Shadowburst I: Summons 2 spheres.

  • Shadowburst II: Summons 4 spheres.

Abyssal Pulse is also returning this season, so be sure to keep the Pulse Stabilizer and Monster Tamer at hand. The Pulse Stabilizer reduces the continuous damage dealt by the Abyss itself, while the Monster Tamer reduces damage from elite monsters and bosses.

Abyss Seal

The price and maximum stack size of the Abyss Seal, required to participate in the mode, have been changed:

• Each Seal now costs 20,000 Gold instead of 10,000

• Seals now stack up to 3 instead of 5
  
  
  

3 New Tutorial Quests

• Hear a crowd gathering in Echo or Amber? Follow the commotion and seek out the Knower Mentor. He'll teach level 6 heroes how to conquer Dungeons and make it back with plenty of loot.

• Magnus Maximus might sound like the name of a Roman emperor, but Magnus and Maximus are actually two aspiring fighters dreaming of making a name for themselves in the Gladiator Arena. They'll gladly show level 6 heroes the ropes.

• Winning in the Gladiator Arena is only the beginning. At level 10, Magnus and Maximus will introduce heroes to the Titan Arena, where fighting your way into the top ranks is a much greater challenge.
  
  
  

Technical Improvements

• Artifact bonuses to the character's maximum Mastery are now displayed correctly.

• Toggles in the Settings menu and equipment comparison window are now displayed correctly.

• Titan Passes are now granted according to a single server-wide time, ensuring they refresh simultaneously regardless of the device's time zone.

• Aggro mechanics have been adjusted to make it easier for Guardians to hold enemy attention on them. As a reminder, equipping Aegis on your skill bar increases your aggro effectiveness.
