For little ghosts, autumn is the most exciting season of all. It is the time when the older spirits finally take them to the Dreamworld Fair. There, the tiny translucent specters proudly bring their first captured ribbons to the Fortune Teller, taste pumpkin punch, and indulge in sweet treats that, for once, don't vanish right through their little fingers.


As autumn reaches its peak, young spirits begin their lessons in the art of the afterlife. They learn how to keep their sheets from getting tangled, how to glow with an eerie charm beneath the moonlight, and how to rattle their chains with the perfect ghostly rhythm.


The most important trial of all is the First Boo. The challenge is to utter the word with just the right amount of fright to make a passerby shiver. Those who succeed are greeted with cheers from their families and rewarded with as many boo-gels as their little sheets can carry.
